An Italy most people grew up eating Nestles’ mini cheese “Formaggino Mio”. It’s one of the most well established brands, in the market as much as in consumers’ hearts. For over eighty years “Mio” has brought joy to children’s tables. The brand positions itself as the mini cheese that makes them grow with a smile. 

THE TASK

The agency was required to create a new packaging layout to better convey the positioning of the brand and at once stress its leadership and iconicity. 

DESIGN SOLUTION

A clean and contemporary style was chosen, driven by the distinctive brand colours (blue and yellow), underlining its iconicity and leadership. The joyful positioning was conveyed through a stylized smile that underscores the brand as it crosses the pack. Nutritional information is now clear and readable, playing a key role as an essential part of the product promise.
